SSIS Consultants

We take existing SSIS estates forward: assess, migrate, keep them running.

SSIS Estate Assessment

We inventory every package, connection manager, Script Task, third-party component, SSISDB project and SQL Agent job, map the dependencies, and classify each package as retire, lift-and-shift, or rewrite. You get a risk register and a sequenced plan your team can execute, or hand back to us.

Lift-and-Shift to Azure

Packages onto the Azure-SSIS integration runtime or SQL Managed Instance: third-party components and Script Task blockers resolved, the SSISDB catalog migrated, SQL Agent schedules re-mapped to triggers, old and new run in parallel with row-count and checksum reconciliation, then cutover.

Selective Rewrite to ADF or Microsoft Fabric

We rebuild the packages that earn it — the high-churn, high-failure, business-critical ones — as metadata-driven Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric pipelines with logging, alerting and restartability. Dead flows are retired. Everything else stays on SSIS, where a rewrite would add risk without value.

SSIS Run and Maintain

Ongoing ownership for teams with no SSIS engineer: nightly failure triage, package and query performance tuning, schema-drift fixes, upgrade and patch work, and written documentation of what each job actually does. Available as a project or as staff augmentation alongside your team.

Inventory Before Recommendation

We read the packages before we propose anything. Every recommendation in our plan points at named packages, jobs and components, so you can check it. No migration proposal written from a slide deck.

No Forced Rewrite

SSIS still ships inside SQL Server, and Microsoft has not announced an end date for it. Lift-and-shift is a legitimate answer, and for most packages it is the right one. We will not recommend a rewrite to sell hours.

Parallel Runs, Reconciled

Cutovers are verified, not announced. Both estates load the same days, and we reconcile row counts, column sums and NULL counts until the only remaining differences are ones you have signed off by name.

The Blockers Tools Only Report

Assessment tooling flags third-party components, Script Tasks, package configurations and undocumented SQL Agent dependencies. It does not fix them. That resolution work is the part of the migration we are hired for.

Senior US Engineers

Every engineer on an engagement is senior and US-based, working in your repository, your SSISDB and your SQL Agent. Engagements run as projects or as staff augmentation alongside your existing team.

Written Handover

Every engagement ends with documentation of what each job does, what it depends on, and how to debug it, so the BI developer who stays can own the estate afterwards without calling us.

Tell us roughly how many packages you have, what version of SQL Server they run on, and what is prompting the move. A senior engineer replies within one business day.
